What an amazing little place with so many traditional features that add to the experience of feeling at one with the views.
We used the cottage as a base for doing the zip world events with both sites being under an hour away. The cottage is very homely with a lovely family kitchen to cook and eat in then cosy down in the lounge together with the open fire crackling away.
We will be back again

This was a wonderful cottage with a wonderful owner who was generosity itself when our car broke down and could not be repaired in Wales.

One thing I would mention is that STS details on the location are out of date- please check them out.

What a lovely cottage in a stunning location, met by Bryn the owner who gave us great information where the best walks are, a really lovely man.
Very hand location for Porthmadog, Criccieth, slate mines etc.
The cottage was very comfortable and homely. Well equipped kitchen and a garden with plenty of seating.
The views are amazing of the mountain and coat.
Hope to visit again.

The cottage is situated in a good position for travelling around this area, with a nice quite location. Bryn, the owner, and his partner are pleasant and helpful. The cottage is quaint with a nice old fashioned feel to it, which was just right for us. Would probably come back here should we revisit this beautiful part of Wales again.

Booked the day before arrival and everything went though without issue.
The house is in a beautiful position with fantastic walks from the door step. It is really comfortable and well resourced - the gardens are lovely. We spent most of the time in the kitchen area and conservatory - comfortable, light and great views. The owner was really helpful and friendly but not intrusive.
Gave a score of 4 for comfort only because of the bathroom being downstairs, we knew this when we booked, not that much of an issue, only during the night time.
Would defiantly book again.

This cottage was comfortable and clean, the dogs loved the secure garden. The host was lovely and helpful as were the neighbours and all made us extremely welcome, what a lovely community. The Location is wonderful with stunning views and a lovely walk up the mountain behind, the hose provided clear instructions at to the paths to follow. It is well situated for trips out to either the beach at Blackrock Sands or out into the stunningly beautiful countryside. There is plenty of room both inside the cottage and out with good parking. We had a paddleboard and blow up boat with us and there was room to dry both outside before packing them away which we found very useful, we were able to store our trailer out of sight behind the cottage whilst not using it and also to bring the car round to the conservatory door to make packing up to come home very easy indeed. Takeaway restaurants and local pubs provided us with our evening meals and shops and supermarkets are not too far away making catering easy. We would like to thank Bryn for making our stay in Dalar Cottage easy and very enjoyable and we would definitely book again when we decide to visit this part of Wales again.

Thank you to Bryn for letting us stay in his lovely cottage the location is great if you want to travel to the little villages near by or to the beach,
Great dog friendly garden with no escape so you don’t need to worry about your dogs at all.
